Mindset is the word we use to describe our general outlook and attitude. It encompasses our beliefs, habits and frame of mind. The mindset we carry with us to the crag dictates all the big and small decisions we make during a climbing day and how we feel as a consequence of our actions. For example a change in your mindset might be the difference between seeing a fall on a route as a failure versus a step forward in your climbing. A small change in your mindset could be the difference between trying a route that is the right challenge for you and trying one that you won’t learn anything from.

What kind of mindset do you have?

If you feel like you are plateauing in your climbing, have too many bad days, are more grumpy than you need to be, struggle to improve or simply feel like you could get more out of your climbing experience then you’ll benefit from some tweaks in your mindset.

Come to this talk and discover how you can hack your mindset to optimise progression in climbing and have more fun in the process.

The talk is an hour long and the remainder is QnA. See the comments for a link to a worksheet designed to accompany this talk.
