Pet abandonment is a huge problem worldwide. Countless millions of loving and friendly pets are abandoned every year, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Every year, around 3.5 million dogs and 3.4 million cats are abandoned in the USA not excluding small animals such as hamsters, rabbits, and many more. What makes it even sadder is the fact that the process of leaving these pets behind is often discreet.

So, Let me introduce you to “Down-and-Out”, a board game against pet abandonment.

Down-and-out is an adventurous cooperative game for one to four players meaning that you’ll be working together to achieve shared victory. The main idea of this board game is that the player becomes the animals itself. In the game, the players will face countless adversaries of evil and horrible human being. This game is a boldly innovative game that thrust players into an ever-changing, interactive environment, and features a rich storyline that the players help create as they play the game. With this board game, it is hoped that the players could empathize better on what animals feels like when they are being abandoned.
